There are many kinds of treatments to choose from and ultimately it is important to find a therapist that you feel you can trust and relate to.

We often struggle with the intense demands of our culture to measure up, to perform, and to be perfect. This leaves little room for those parts of us that do not match these expectations: the vulnerable, the weak, inadequate and grieving parts of the soul. And yet, it is precisely these parts of who we are that bring us closer to others, to the vitality of life, and the world. Bringing these rejected and denied elements of our inner world back into our daily rhythm is what brings meaning and depth to our days.

My approach emphasizes individuals' inner strength and resources, and involves reflection and exploration, enhancing coping strategies and incorporating my clients' interest including art, music and writing, to help them develop a more authentic personal narrative. i believe therapy should be an illuminating, collaborative process, and I specialize in helping individuals unearth their innate dynamism and resiliency.
